Liebe Mitglieder, Sympathisanten und Freunde des PACG.

Auch dieses Jahr steht wieder ein madrilenisches Derby im heimischen Vicente Calderón an. Ein Grund für uns gemeinsam in die spanische Hauptstadt zu reisen und erneut eine kleine Tour mit dem Fanklub zu erleben und dieses Mal hoffentlich die drei Punkte im Derby gegen Real Madrid einzusacken.

Das Derby im Calderón findet in diesem Jahr in einer englischen Woche zwischen dem 10. und dem 12. April statt. Weiterhin findet am darauf folgenden Wochenende das Auswärtsspiel gegen Rayo Vallecano statt.

Am vergangenen Montag war es endlich wieder soweit. Bewaffnet mit eigens dafür hergestellten „Liedbüchern“ mit den 43 besten italienischen Popsongs, machte sich eine kleine Gruppe das PACG auf um ihre rot-weißen Helden anzufeuern. Ziel der Reise war dieses Mal die „ewige Stadt“, Rom. In Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass es in Rom doch einiges zu sehen gibt, entschloss man sich ein paar Tage vorher anzureisen um die Gelegenheit zu nutzen sich auch noch die Stadt anzusehen.

Trotz der Tatsache, dass sowohl Andre als auch ich (Anm. d. Red.: Susanne) gesundheitlich angeschlagen waren, machten wir uns schon am Montag von Deutschland aus auf in die italienische Hauptstadt. Krank im Bett liegen konnte man auch noch, wenn man wieder daheim war. Alles für den Klub!

Atletico Madrid's Diego could miss Lazio clash - report
The on-loan Brazilian suffered a thigh injury in Sunday evening's La Liga draw with Sporting and is now considered a major doubt for the midweek visit of the Biancocelesti

The former Brazil international was forced off after 61 minutes of Sunday evening's La Liga match against Sporting and, according to AS, the player has been diagnosed with a muscle tear in his right thigh.

The full extent of the damage will not be known until after an MRI scan on Monday, but Diego is already considered a major doubt for the midweek visit of the Biancocelesti to the Vicente Calderon.

The 26-year-old attacking midfielder is currently on a season-long loan at Atletico from Wolfsburg.
